Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order or using our website. By accessing The Hoodie Maker UK and completing a purchase, you agree to be legally bound by the terms set out below. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. About Us

2. Independent Retailer — Important Notice

The Hoodie Maker UK is a fully independent retail platform. All products sold on our website are independently designed and crafted inspired pieces. Where product descriptions reference style trends, general fashion aesthetics, or popular design influences, this is for descriptive purposes only.

We do not claim or imply that any of our products are authentic goods manufactured by, or officially associated with, any third-party brand or designer. All brand names, trademarks, and trade dress remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Customers should not assume any official relationship between The Hoodie Maker UK and any third-party brand.

By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and understood this notice, and that all items sold are independent designs.

3. Eligibility

By placing an order with us, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or have obtained parental or guardian consent;
  • You are placing the order from a jurisdiction where purchasing our products is lawful;
  • The delivery address provided is accurate, complete, and accessible;
  • All personal information submitted during the order process is truthful and up to date.

4. Orders & Contract Formation

When you place an order on our website, the following process applies:
  • You will receive an order confirmation email upon submission. This email is an acknowledgement only and does not constitute acceptance of your order.
  • A legally binding contract between you and The Hoodie Maker UK is formed only when we dispatch your order and send a separate shipping confirmation email.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our sole discretion — for example, in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraudulent activity, payment failure, or stock unavailability.
  • If we cancel your order, a full refund will be issued promptly to your original payment method.
Prices and product availability may change without notice. Where a pricing error is identified after your order is placed: if the correct price is lower than charged, we will refund the difference; if the correct price is higher, we will contact you before proceeding and give you the option to cancel.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of applicable VAT for UK customers. International customers may see prices adjusted for their local currency at checkout, subject to exchange rate conversion by our payment processor.

We accept payments via:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • Visa & Mastercard (debit and credit)

Payment is due in full at the time of ordering. We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology to ensure your payment information is transmitted securely. We do not store your card details on our servers. All transactions are processed by our third-party payment providers.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship to addresses within the United Kingdom and internationally worldwide. All orders are assigned a tracking number upon dispatch, which will be shared with you via email.

Estimated delivery time frames are provided at checkout for guidance only and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, international postal services, adverse weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Risk of loss or damage to your order passes to you upon successful delivery to the address provided at checkout. We are not liable for parcels lost or delayed after confirmed delivery.

7. Import Duties, Taxes & Customs Charges

For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom — including deliveries to regions subject to post-Brexit import rules — local customs authorities or courier companies may apply import duties, taxes, or handling fees.

Please note the following important points:

  • All import duties, taxes, and customs charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost displayed at checkout.
  • The Hoodie Maker UK has no control over these charges, as they are assessed independently by local customs authorities and couriers.
  • Such charges are mandatory and must be paid directly to the relevant authority or courier before delivery can proceed.
  • If a customer refuses to pay applicable customs charges and the parcel is subsequently returned to us, any return shipping costs, customs handling fees, and related expenses may be deducted from the refund in accordance with our Refunds Policy below.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs charges applicable in your country of delivery.

8. Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 2 days (48 hours) of placing it by contacting our support team at info@thehoodiemaker.co.uk with your order number and cancellation request.

Please note: if your order has already been dispatched, is in transit, or is held at customs, we are unable to cancel it. In such cases, you will need to accept delivery and then follow our returns process if you wish to return the item.

9. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy is designed to be straightforward and fair.

UK Customers: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and return items within 14 days of receiving your goods, without providing a reason.

International Customers: You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, provided you notify us within 3 days (72 hours) of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be in its original, unworn, and unwashed condition with all tags still attached.
  • The item must be returned in its original or equivalent protective packaging.
  • Personalised or custom items, and clearly marked sale items, may not be eligible for return. This will be stated clearly on the relevant product page.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent — in which case we will cover the return shipping cost.

Refunds are issued only after the returned item has been received and inspected by our team to confirm it meets the conditions above. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt and issued to your original payment method only.

Please note: descriptive references to style inspirations or design trends in our product listings do not constitute misrepresentation, as this is made clear prior to checkout.

To initiate a return, contact us at info@thehoodiemaker.co.uk with your order number and reason for return.

10. Product Descriptions & Accuracy

We make every reasonable effort to display our products accurately, including colours, materials, sizing, and design details. However, please be aware of the following:

  • Actual colours may vary slightly from those shown on screen due to differences in monitor calibration and display settings. Minor colour variations do not constitute a product fault.
  • As some of our hoodies are handcrafted inspired designs, minor variations in texture, stitching, or detailing may occur between individual items. These are inherent to the nature of the product and do not constitute misrepresentation.
  • Sizing information is provided as a guide. Please refer to our Size Guide on the product page before placing your order. If you are unsure about sizing, contact us before purchasing.

We reserve the right to withdraw, amend, or discontinue any product listed on our website at any time without notice.
